How to get there from Brisbane: Head West to Warrego Highway M2, take the Warrego Hwy/ Esk/Toowoomba exit, take the Mt Crosby Rd/State route 37 towards Tivoli/Mt Crosby. Merge onto Mount Crosby Rd State Route 37. Roundabout 4th exit stay on Mt Crosby Rd. Next roundabout 2nd exit staying on Mt Crosby Road. Then turn left on Allawah Road, then right, slowly continue just over a hill, to right turn into scout camp (Gate 1), don’t go past the Brisbane sign that’s too far.

Cost: Powered site $15 per person per night powered and $12 per person per night non powered.

Power: Yes. Bring extra leads .

Water : Yes. Try to come with Full tanks. NOTE: You can’t permanently hook on, limited number of taps. Bring extra hoses to top up as needed.

Facilities: Showers and Toilets are available. (Basic)

Dump Point: Not on site. Closest is Ipswich Showgrounds, 81 Warwick Road Ipswich. (11km)

Arrangements for the weekend:

Each Day: J Walkers at 7.00 a.m. Morning Tea at 10.00 a.m. Happy hours at 4.00 p.m.

Thursday Lunch: – At Karalee Pub for those that want to partake, booked for 11.30 Please advise Shell the numbers. Seniors 20% discount, specials on board, menu on the web. Pets ok as it will be in the Beer Garden.

Friday. PM Bowls Mt. Crosby Bowls Club, $5pp. Please advise the numbers .

4pm Happy Hour then Communal Dinner. Bring your own dinner and eat together under cover if you wish. Warm clothes and chairs

Saturday: Afternoon meetings Committee and General.

Dinner: Pot Luck Dinner to share. We have the Industrial Kitchen for our use that day only. There are power points, a stove and fridges to use. Mains L – M, Dessert A – K. We have great cooks in the club.

Games to follow.

There is a large fire pit. We can sit around, share stories, toast marshmallows and sip a few. Please Bring a bag of wood to assist with enjoying the ambience of a campfire.

NOTE: To gain entry into the Camp, the Gate works on telephone entry.

Things to do in area: Heritage Precinct, Handmade Markets Saturday 9-1, Cafes, Shopping precincts, Queensland railway Workshops Museum, Queens Park, various sections, Riverheart Parklands, Kholo Gardens, Colleges Crossing, Further information will be available at the rally.
