How to get there: If your heading from Ipswich, head towards Fernvale on the Brisbane Valley Highway. After the School at Fernvale turn left onto Forest Hill Fernvale Rd. towards Lowood, name changes to Railway St. Turn right onto Station St, and then immediately turn right into the Lowood Showgrounds.

Cost: Powered: $25.00 pvpn. Pay Robert before arriving.

Power: Yes. Please bring long leads.

Water: Yes Extra Hose.

Facilities: Toilets & Showers.

Dump Point: Yes

Pets: Yes. Under normal Club Rules.

This town is set on the upper reaches of the Brisbane River and has the usual country markets as well as Fernvale Bakery a few clicks down the road. Brightview tavern is a few clicks heading west on the way to Plainlands & Schulte’s Meat Barn, the home of wonderful German small-goods all prepared on site.

Arrangements for the Weekend:

Each day: 10am. Morning Tea. 4pm. Happy hour 7.00am. J Walkers

Wednesday: Set up. Free day.

Thursday: 11.00am Drive to site of historic airfield and car racetrack.

6.00pm BYO communal dinner followed by a quiz.

Friday: 9.30am Drive to riverside BYO morning tea. Swim if warm enough.

6.00pm BYO communal dinner. BBQ available.

Saturday: 9.00am Brief get together for those going on tagalong.

12 noon Lunch Hotel Lowood.

2.00pm Committee Meeting. 3.00pm General Meeting.

6.00pm Shared Dinner. Please bring a plate of substantial finger food to share for a light dinner. Quiz to followed.

Sunday: Tagalong departs for Chinchilla.
