How to get there: From Brisbane Drive over the Houghton Hwy Bridge onto Elizabeth Ave (Route 26), then turn right onto Anzac Ave (Route 71), turn left into Recreation St which changes its name to Scarborough Rd.

From North: via Anzac Ave, take slip road onto Klinger Rd. At the large roundabout turn right into Scarborough Road. The entrance to the showgrounds is on the left.

Cost: $35.00 per night. Pay the Robert before arriving.

Power: Yes. Bring extra leads .

Water : Yes. Bring extra hoses.

Facilities: Showers and Toilets are available.

Dump Point: Dump Point on site. Bring socks for your wastewater.

Pets: Allowed under normal club rules.

Please be mindful that the showground gates are always open so keep pets on a leash and belongings secure.

Arrangements for the Week:

There is no covered area for morning teas and happy hour, but negotiations are in place for the use of one of the smaller halls. There are large trees along one side of the grounds which provide some shade.

This will be a very low-key rally – very relaxing. Do as much or as little to recoup after the Christmas and New Year festivities. Redcliffe has a wonderful pier where you will find the Redcliffe Visitor Information Centre and the famous Bee Gees Way.

Wednesday – Checkout the sights of Redcliffe, Scarborough, Margate, or Woody Point.

Thursday – Ron is looking at booking outdoor bowls.

Friday— Lunch at Morgan’s Seafood at Scarborough – eat in or take away. Menu at www.morganseafood.com.au

Saturday – Lunch (not dinner) together at the Redcliffe RSL. Seniors Lunch Special is $10 per head if you are a member. Geoff and I are members and the RSL is happy for you to order your meals using our cards. The RSL has an excellent museum on the ground floor for those who are interested.

The main hall at the showgrounds has been booked from 2:30pm Saturday.

3 PM – Defib training in the hall.

4 PM – General Meeting

4:30ish – Happy Hour in the hall with entertainment

NOTE – There will be no evening communal meal. You will be free to paint the town red or to stay and watch a movie supplied by Ron in the hall.

Sunday – Lions Sunday Markets – Redcliffe Showgrounds – 6:00am to 11:00am

Redcliffe Farmers & Artisan Markets – Redcliffe Pier – 8:00am to 2:00pm
